Samoyeds have a substantial double-coat, deep chest and very muscular limbs. The head is massive and wedge-shaped, with medium-sized ears and almond-shaped dark eyes. The jaws close in a firm scissors bite, and overshot or undershot jaws are a disqualification. Pets for sale from a rescue may be cheaper than those from a kennel.
